How does it work?

Each session is 90 minutes, with an optional 30 minute discussion aftewards.

After a brief introduction, you'll receive a role for a simulated negotiation—like improv, you're given basic motivations and a scoresheet, then you fill in details with your imagination.

You'll have about 15 minutes to prepare (see Lectures section 2). Then you’ll be randomly paired with a partner who has a corresponding role. You'll get about 45 minutes to negotiate and try to reach agreement.

I'll debrief by sharing how you scored against the max possible and highlighting learning points.

Then you can stay for the optional 30-minute post-game discussion or head out!

NOTE—this effort is supported by UCL research, which is how we’re able to offer it free of charge. We will ask to record the simulated negotiation sessions for data to improve negotiation teaching and practice.
